As a little girl in Tbilisi, Georgia, (just east of Atlanta) Inna Stashevskaya was a gymnast, she ran track, and she studied math and science. Along the way she became interested in becoming a dentist.
She attended the Tver State Medical Academy, north of Moscow where she received her degree in dentistry. After moving to the United States she has continued to serve others by working as a dental assistant and dental hygienist in the Denver Metro area.
She has been an active member in the American Dental Hygienist Association and has participated in the Colorado Mission of Mercy (COMOM), a program that provides quality dental services, at no cost, to individuals of all ages who cannot afford and access dental care. Program directors proudly claim the program eliminates dental pain, while promoting oral health, creating smiles, and providing oral health education.
When Inna’s daughters were younger, she was a frequent speaker at local schools promoting the values of dental hygiene. Because her presentations were so well received, she wrote a children’s book, Lola and Sir Germs-a-Lot.
